The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need."

They will also share local play guides, and share their fresh beef and mutton to eat with everyone. The guests have the needs and meet everyone as much as possible. For example, someone needs to add more quilts, and my mother wants to cook medicine, and she is very enthusiastic to help. It is a typical Tibetan house courtyard, with strong walls, quiet and comfortable living. It is very suitable for a family of young and old, or friends, sitting around on the big table in the yard, chatting, eating and drinking tea. Less than ten minutes walk from Labrang Temple. There are many choices for eating nearby."
